We are certainly well aware of the fact that people of different religions live in India and different languages are spoken here, and the most beautiful thing about India is that still we live together like a family.

The purpose of Hindi Day, which is being celebrated across the country today, is not to impose this language on non-Hindi speaking states, it is to promote how important it is for us to have the knowledge of Hindi, because in the total population of India, more than half of the population speaks the language.

Our Hindi language is one of the ancient languages, many words of Urdu, Persian and English have been derived from the words of ‌ Hindi. There are many of us Indians who feel shy about using Hindi. According to them, Hindi language is the language of fools, but they should know that this language itself is the mother of many languages.

I respectfully request all my teachers, non-teaching staff, and my friends here to spread Hindi language and share it with their belongings so that they also know the importance of Hindi. With these words I conclude my speech, thank you!
