Eligibility criteria for RRB ASM Recruitment 2023 in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or institution, whether central or state-based.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates’ age must not be below 18 years and above 32 years.

There will be age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC for 5 and 3 years, respectively.

Details regarding the application fee for recruitment of Assistant Station Master under the Indian Railways is available below.

  • General: ₹500/-
  • SC/ST/PH ₹250/-
  • Ex-servicemen: ₹250/-
  • Economically Backward Classes (EWS): ₹250/-
  • Minority: ₹250/-

For the General ca ₹450/ of the application fee shall be refunded on appearing in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1, and for SC/ST/Disabled and Ex-servicemen of ₹250/of the application fee shall be refunded on appearing in CBT 1.

RRB ASM Selection Process 2023

Selection process for the post of Assistant Station Master under the Indian Railways consists of three stages, which are Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Document Verification.

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT): The initial stage of the selection process includes a Computer-Based Test. This exam covers subjects like General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & Reasoning.
  • Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Candidates who successfully clear CBT 1 will be eligible to participate in the Computer-Based Aptitude Test. This test assesses the candidate’s aptitude for the Assistant Station Manager position.
  • Document Verification: Once candidates pass the aptitude test, they will undergo a document verification process to confirm their eligibility and qualifications.
