How to register a Sahara Refund Portal account
- Please visit the CRCS Refund Portal website at https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in as the first step.
- Click on “Depositor Registration,” fill out the captcha.
- Now enter your 12-digit membership number,
- 10-digit Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and last four-digit Aadhaar number to register.

All qualified depositors of the Sahara Group would get full reimbursements, the government has vowed. The opening of the Sahara Refund Portal is a positive development and provides the depositors with much-needed respite.
Refund Claim Online Application
The site simplifies the refund claim procedure by allowing qualified depositors to submit applications online and track the status of such submissions. The first tranche of reimbursements, or the prime payout, was effortlessly deposited into the bank accounts of the aforementioned 112 depositors on August 4, 2023. Refunds will be issued in subsequent installments as applications are methodically processed.
How is the return sum deposited into a bank account?
Participants must have their cell phone and bank account connected to their Aadhaar number in order to submit a refund claim request on the Sahara site. A depositor won’t be able to start a claim request if their bank account isn’t linked to their Aadhaar number.
The precise distribution of refunds to the proper depositors is ensured by the Aadhaar seeding security mechanism. Depositors provide further identification proof by connecting their Aadhaar number to their bank account and cellphone number.
